Farewell and safe journeys...

I don't recall a time before Chris and Helen started talking about taking a cross country trip in an RV or camper of some kind. They started looking at full size RVs and traditional camping trailers, and then Chris stumbled across the Casita. They were hooked, and from there on out it was only a matter of time before they hit the open road. Retirement has been kind to Chris as he prepared the Casita for their journey, and Helen looks will have been retired for a whole week and a half when the road trip begins.

A three month tour of the United States sounds like a blast, but also sounds a lot like the opening theme song from Gilligan's Island. Sharing a 17' camper (from toungue to tale) is a challenge for any couple, but I can't think of two people better suited to meet this challenge. They'll still probably deserve an award at the end of the three months...

So, I guess all that's left is to say "Happy Trails" and make sure to return safely to the mountains you still call home...
